Welcome to the Central Valley Homeschoolers blog. We've created this blog to help homeschoolers stay connected, and as a place to announce upcoming field trips or other activities. If you would like to host an event or organize an activity, we would love to hear from you. Feel free to email us and we'll be sure to post all events as they are brought to our attention. We will also be posting activities that might interest the homeschooling community. Money and Youth Workshops - NEW DATE

WHEN: Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM
WHERE: Investors Group, 8927 Commercial St, New Minas, NS

Parents are invited to attend 6 sessions FREE of charge for a series on Money and Youth.  Included free of charge will be a full color workbook that you can use to teach your teens about money matters and access to online teachers guides as well. 

I will be donating my time to this effort as I believe kids need to know about money and what it means before they become adults and leave our homes.  I grew up in the Valley and I am a Financial Consultant with Investors Group and a mother of 11-year-old twins and a 13-year-old. 

Please message me through facebook or the homeschool email which will be passed on to me if you have any questions and please sign up no later than February 1st so I can order enough supplies.  There must be a minimum of 5 participants to offer the series.
