Zoom
What is the fastest thing humans know of? Why do things go fast? How does our body react to things that go quickly? What are the fastest animals on earth? Students will make their very own fast moving craft and learn how to add more power to speed things up.

Population Dynamics
Animal populations fluctuate naturally. There are many different reasons for this natural fluctuation from predation to weather to food abundance. In this session we will model the natural fluctuation of the rabbit population in Nova Scotia.
Registration for these programs opens January 26th and closes end of day February 12th (two business days before the sessions). If you would like to host an event or organize an activity, we would love to hear from you. Feel free to email us and we'll be sure to post all events as they are brought to our attention. We will also be posting activities that might interest the homeschooling community. If you are aware of any events that you haven't seen mentioned here, please let us know and we'll be sure to post it. Keep us bookmarked us and check back often. All our events are also listed on Facebook in the Annapolis Valley Homeschoolers group. Comments and suggestions are always welcome!
