Mona Henniger (one of our great homeschooling moms) is offering to start a Math club for home schoolers. She has a background in Math and Education and is willing to give this a try. It would not be curriculum focused, although the kids would definitely learn and/or practice components of the curriculum.
Activities could include, but are not limited to, playing with numbers (patterns, tricks, etc), playing games (board, card, dice), solving and creating math puzzles, doing hands-on activities (geometry, art, etc), learning about famous mathematicians, and having fun with math!
If you are interested please let us know how many, their name and age on the facebook site under this event or email Mona.
