WELCOME!

Welcome to the Central Valley Homeschoolers blog. We've created this blog to help homeschoolers stay connected, and as a place to announce upcoming field trips or other activities. If you would like to host an event or organize an activity, we would love to hear from you. Feel free to email us and we'll be sure to post all events as they are brought to our attention. We will also be posting activities that might interest the homeschooling community. If you are aware of any events that you haven't seen mentioned here, please let us know and we'll be sure to post it. Keep us bookmarked us and check back often. All our events are also listed on Facebook in the Annapolis Valley Homeschoolers group. Comments and suggestions are always welcome!

Track and Field

Good morning, homeschoolers.

It is getting to be that time of year when we look forward to our annual track and field day in the Valley. All information for the event is below. Please pass it on to the rest of your homeschooling group and post it on your websites/blogs. We do know for some of you this is quite a journey, but we wanted to offer it to you and let your families make the decision about travelling for this fantastic day of fun competition.

Please email your intent to come including the ages of your children, to Paula or Edward James at
hurdles@ns.sympatico.ca. Do not reply to this email with your intent to participate.

For those of you who have attended in previous years, also note that we will NOT be having the book sale at this event this year, nor will the team games be played in the afternoon. If you would like information on those events, contact me at
janblackwell2@hotmail.com or see us on facebook at Annapolis Valley Home Schoolers. Jan Blackwell
