WELCOME!

Welcome to the Central Valley Homeschoolers blog. We've created this blog to help homeschoolers stay connected, and as a place to announce upcoming field trips or other activities. If you would like to host an event or organize an activity, we would love to hear from you. Feel free to email us and we'll be sure to post all events as they are brought to our attention. We will also be posting activities that might interest the homeschooling community. If you are aware of any events that you haven't seen mentioned here, please let us know and we'll be sure to post it. Keep us bookmarked us and check back often. All our events are also listed on Facebook in the Annapolis Valley Homeschoolers group. Comments and suggestions are always welcome!

Ross Farm Field Trip

I have arranged for the homeschoolers a trip to

Ross Farm...

Tuesday, May 8th at 10am.

We will be participating in two workshops that are 1.5 hours each
Cost $5 for both or $3 for one.

There are 6 workshops for us to sign up for and each is appropriate for certain age groups. They are: Schoolhouse, 5+
Farm Animals, 5+
Open hearth cooking, 7+
Candlemaking, 7+
Blacksmithing, 8+
Wool Processing, 9+
There must be 10 kids registered for each workshop in order for it to be offered.

Please register for your first and second choice workshops per child and I will compile a list and try to get everyone at least one of their first choices.

The day will end around 3pm. Please bring a picnic lunch.

There will be a wagon ride that costs .50 cents per person and one adult per 5 children gets in for free, additional adults are 5.00.

Any questions AND to register, please email me, nguyenalisa1@gmail.com

Thanks,

Alisa
