Welcome to the Central Valley Homeschoolers blog. We've created this blog to help homeschoolers stay connected, and as a place to announce upcoming field trips or other activities. Blomidon Park - Vernal Pond Re-visit

WHEN: Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm.
WHERE: Blomidon Provincial Park, 3138 Pereau Rd, Canning, NS

After visiting the vernal pond in late May, we will again visit the park a month later to view it chang; as the vernal pond goes from a vast water supply to a dried and empty hollow.  Explore under logs and trees for salamanders, visit the view point overlooking the Avon shore.  The hike took us 2 hours last time (granted we were rushing because of the cold) so anticipate a 3 hour hike if we meander. :)
