Welcome to the Central Valley Homeschoolers blog. We've created this blog to help homeschoolers stay connected, and as a place to announce upcoming field trips or other activities. If you would like to host an event or organize an activity, we would love to hear from you. Feel free to email us and we'll be sure to post all events as they are brought to our attention. We will also be posting activities that might interest the homeschooling community. If you are aware of any events that you haven't seen mentioned here, please let us know and we'll be sure to post it. Keep us bookmarked us and check back often. 3rd Annual Annapolis Valley HomeSchool Expo!

Saturday, April 25, 2015 @ NSCC Kingstec Campus

 9:30    Participating homeschoolers and other exhibitors arrive to setup.


10:00    Mingle with fellow homeschoolers, browse curriculum sale, check out exhibitor's tables, kids can participate in building challenge, and try out musical instruments.


11:00    Doors open to public with a welcome and formal instructions.  Set out the refreshments.  Interact with public at your family's table and enjoy/participate in acts on stage.  The used curriculum sale continues while supplies last.

 2:00    Closing.

  • No cost.
  • Please bring fruit/veggies, cheese/crackers, or baked goods for the refreshment table.
  • Bring water bottles and bagged lunches for your family.
  • Spread the word and encourage other homeschoolers.  Put up posters.
  • Bring used curriculum to sell.
  • Sign up by April 1st.
You need to sign up for table space (1/2 table, whole table, 2 tables, etc) and sign up if your child(ren) have an act on stage (piano will be available).  Sign up with Alisa (by email, phone, FB, or website) or if families find it easier I can take the info and pass it on to Alisa myself.  Deadline to sign up is April 1st. (ASAP)

Kid entrepreneurs can sell things at their own family's table.  Doing their own selling and dealing with their own money.

If you have curriculum or any learning games or educational products to sell, please bring them along.  Price your own items and provide an empty envelope with a list of your items and their prices written on the outside of the envelope.  At the end of the day, simply pick up your envelope (with your money inside) as well as any items that didn't sell.  Consider passing unsold items to Cheryl James for her new consignment store.
