Good day Home School families,
Our next round of home school sessions are happening Tuesday February 17, 2015. The session content is as follows:
Ages 5-7: 9:45 AM - 10:30 AM in Kilowatt Korner
H2Olympics - Examining Water Properties
What is cohesion, adhesion, capillary action and surface tension? Find out the meaning of these key words as students cycle through water stations performing experiments.
Ages 8-12: 10:45 AM - 12:00 Noon in Enterprise Room
What is the fastest thing humans know of? Why do things go fast? How does our body react to things that go quickly? What are the fastest animals on earth? Students will make their very own fast moving craft and learn how to add more power to speed things up.
Age 13: 10:45 AM - 12:00 Noon in Kilowatt Korner
Animal populations fluctuate naturally. There are many different reasons for this natural fluctuation from predation to weather to food abundance. In this session we will model the natural fluctuation of the rabbit population in Nova Scotia.
Registration for these programs opens January 26th and closes end of day February 12th (two business days before the sessions). You must register ahead of time in the order to participate in programming. Please fill out the PDF registration form (see below) and submit it to email@example.com . For the 2015 home school programs prepayment is required. Please read the PDF Policy (see below).
We have placed students in aged clusters so as to work among their peers and within their curriculum levels. Please sign up for the age appropriate session offered.
