Welcome to the Central Valley Homeschoolers blog. We've created this blog to help homeschoolers stay connected, and as a place to announce upcoming field trips or other activities. If you would like to host an event or organize an activity, we would love to hear from you. Feel free to email us and we'll be sure to post all events as they are brought to our attention. We will also be posting activities that might interest the homeschooling community. Parent Meeting - Thursday June 6, 2013

June's meeting is at Jan Rowe's house, 812 Neptune Lane, Greenwood.

We'll have a guest speaker, as well as a theme.
 
Guest Speaker: Bryan Tinlin, a Christian parent from Kentville who homeschools his own children, will give an overview of his services and explain how they are relevant to homeschoolers. He runs an independent academic advising service for future or current university and college students and their parents. Read more at www.academicadviceonline.com. He's offering a great workshop in New Minas later this month! Great opportunity for you and your teenagers to stop and think about the future.
 
Theme: R&R (Reporting and Recreation) Please bring samples of year-end reports that you may have submitted to the Dept of Education over the years. Also, let’s bring our favourite Nova Scotia recreation recommendations to kick off the summer!
