Welcome to the Central Valley Homeschoolers blog. We've created this blog to help homeschoolers stay connected, and as a place to announce upcoming field trips or other activities. CANCELLATION for Wed. October 10!!!

Hello!

Unfortunately I have to cancel tomorrow's play group. We were planning to hike with Char through the Acadian woodland forests in Wolfville, but she is sick and it's supposed to rain. Not a good combination for a hike in the muddy woods.

We will instead re-schedule the hike for:

next WEDNESDAY, October 17th at 10AM. We will meet at the KC Irving Environmental Sciences Centre at 10AM in the back in the first open field with the wishing ponds (at least that is what my kids think they are). The trail will wind through the forest and we will enjoy the fall foliage. Char Bishop, our illustrious local naturalist, will help us to collect ingredients for an herbal tea which we will enjoy during our hike. Please bring your own metal or ceramic cup as there will not be cups provided. This trail is not stroller friendly, so please wear appropriate footwear.
