Wednesday, October 3rd - 10AM - DRUMMING - Bruno Allard will be
hosting an hour long djembe drumming workshop at Ocean Spirit Studio. This is a
great event for ALL aged kids and parents too. The workshop will cost us $2 per
participant. Hope to have lots of budding musicians and dancers too. :-) They

Wednesday, October 10th - 10AM - HIKING - Charlane Bishop is a
local naturalist and she has hiked with us all summer long at Blomidon Park.
She will be joining us again on a walk through the Acadia woodlands behind the
KC Irving Environmental Sciences Center Meet at the KC Irving Center inside the
main greenhouse. We will ramble through the grounds of the sciences center and
then up the hill through the Acadian trails. Please wear proper footwear. This
is an all weather hike, not stroller friendly and we will go rain or shine.
Wednesday, October 17th - 10AM - CRAFTING - Join us for a fall
craft at Ocean Spirit Studio. Bring along leaves collected from your yard or at
a previous nature walk (see above) and we will create a wonderful fall tree. If
the weather cooperates we will walk over to the Canning Playground afterwards
for some fresh air at the gazebo.
Wednesday, October 24th - 10AM - COMMUNITY - Kentville Police
Station - Join Constable Mike Goss as he introduces us to the importance of
police in our community and what we can do to help them do their job. Meet at

Wednesday, October 31st - 10AM - HALLOWEEN PARTY! Let's work
together to plan something fun, indoors and safe for our trick-or-treaters at
Ocean Spirit Studio. Healthy party food, bobbing for apples, costumes and pin
the nose on the pumpkin or other halloween games. I would love if we can work
together to plan something we can all enjoy, safely and healthy. Email me or
