Welcome to the Central Valley Homeschoolers blog. We've created this blog to help homeschoolers stay connected, and as a place to announce upcoming field trips or other activities. Lest We Forget Workshops

My name is Cindy Campbell from Halifax Public Libraries.

This year Halifax Public Libraries and Library and Archives Canada are offering free Lest We Forget Workshops in HRM.

Lest We Forget workshops, delivered by library staff, will provide community groups with a unique and enriched hands-on learning opportunity that will deepen their understanding of Canada’s role in World War I, and give them an intimate look at the lives and experiences of local soldiers and nursing sisters who served at that time.

This workshop is for youth, age 12 - 18 years, along with their parents, leaders or teachers.

Would your organization, please help us spread the word about this free workshop to your homeschoolers and homeschooling groups in HRM.
