Welcome to the Central Valley Homeschoolers blog. We've created this blog to help homeschoolers stay connected, and as a place to announce upcoming field trips or other activities. Astronomy

ASTRONOMY
 
This Saturday night at 6:30PM

Join the FREE Young Naturalist Club to explore the cosmos with Larry Bogan from the Minas Astronomy Group for "Enjoying the night sky and amateur astronomy". Meet at the KC Irving Environmental Science Centre and bring your binoculars and telescopes and discover what is in the night sky and where to look for it. Jupiter and Venus will be available, and if the skies are cloudy we will study star charts. Meet in the downstairs classroom of the main building. (The Young Naturalist Club offers fun FREE nature events for kids of all ages. We meet monthly in or around Wolfville to explore nature and learn about our world. You can join the club at any time of the year. Our website: http://nature1st.net/ync/?page_id=659)
